Great. I hope that the new 6.0.0 is for 1.25, WITH a compatibility for 1.26!
As most mods will take some time to update for 1

Yes, It would be great if the authors of Promods and Southern Region Map agreed on cooperation, like with author of RusMap. Southern Region Map is one of the most qualite map for ETS.Zniwek wrote:Thanks for sharing, I'll have to check it out finally
Together with the map of Kazakhstan it would be a really huge project.
Comedians, Kazakhstan map as they say "fork in the water it is written" .Kortez wrote:

Meanwhile, let's wait for the successful interoperability RusMap - South Region - ProMods.
Agree. But in the future I hope to see SR cooperating with ProMods, and then with you. That would do for some great cooperation.09_KZ wrote:Meanwhile, let's wait for the successful interoperability RusMap - South Region - ProMods.
Anyhow, SR is already RusMap compatible... RusMap is ProMods compatible. The new SR is expected to be ProMods compatible...
Kazakhstan could be compatible without requiring much work, I believe.

I don't think it is going to happen unless Southern Region map is reworked with much lower city density like Promods and Rusmap is working with. You even can't read half the city names on the map. Rather than making every small town in the region, the developer could go in the Southern Caucasian states.
I agree that there is a high city density.samuray wrote: I don't think it is going to happen unless Southern Region map is reworked with much lower city density like Promods and Rusmap is working with. But they could do what ProMods did and turn some names into smaller ones. I.e. Dover, rather than big ones. I.e. London. Now you have the solution for the name cluster.
Expanding south is probably their target, eventually. After all, the name is Southern Region.
And it is a well made map, from what I have explored. I don't think ProMods will loose anything from a partnership! Even if they don't cooperate, it is still a good map combo.
One day, ProMods will venture into the Balkans and Turkey, as they have announced before. Then, you might be able to go all around the black sea...
When the new release is out, please tell us, guys.

I'm fairly certain we will all know when release is. Someone will tell, no doubt about it, especially with the level of hype that this map has generated for being compatible with Promods+Rusmap.

That certainly creates a very nice image in my head, but although the map is titled "Southern Region" I would prefer to have other areas like the Russian parts east of Moscow, like Nizhny Novgorod and Kasan but particularly Ukraine built first. Right now, therefore we have a huuuge gap in the map.gmtavares wrote:samuray wrote:

Seeing all the beautiful images, the stunning results, I cannot emphasise more the massive cooperation potential towards that big aim.
