I followed all of those steps except for the last one, as there is no Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder in my Documents. I re-installed the game after doing so, and my Documents folder was still not there. However, my profile was intact and all my progress was saved.
(Whenever I click "Re-install," it re-installs all my previous files. I think this means that it doesn't re-install the ETS2 folder in Documents but does so with my profile.)
Do you know a way to completely delete the game and start fresh?
ETS2 Documents Folder
Maybe you changed your "homedir" folder in the past? That's why it's not in Documents.

Did that, no documents folder to delete. Re-installed it and not there either.
But... Are you using "-homedir" command (in Launch options found in Steam->ETS2->Properties)? I don't understand it from your post.

I looked in the Launch Option area in Properties, it was blank. I typed in "-homedir," downloading now, let's see if it works.
No... Don't use that command. I was just asking if you used it in the past.

Didn't work; I'm not going to try "homedir" instead.
Well... Don't you understand my post?
Don't use this command.

No; I haven't. I checked my Users folder, but there was no folder there pertaining to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
