To use stamps, press B.
If you want to be sure that your stamps will appear on correct terrain (when 2 of them meet each other), then remember to select red node (or center node of Bezier patch). Usually it's not needed.

Steam downloaded a new version of ETS2 and I am afraid that when I open the map editor the map will corrupt. How do I make sure that the Map will be still accesible.
Nothing wrong will happen until you save. And this update doesn't affect the map.
Your map is saved in .scs file, it won't be overwritten there...

What do you mean with ''until you save''? Can I save my map or not?Zniwek wrote:Nothing wrong will happen until you save. And this update doesn't affect the map.

Let's say that there's a game update. From 1.26 to 1.27.
You launch 1.27 map editor with your 1.26 map. When you save, it'll convert map sectors to 1.27. Then, if you go to base/map and pack your map again, it won't work in 1.26 anymore.

Sorry for so many questions I do not want to take the risk of losing everything

You have your map sectors packed in an archive, that you have in your mod folder, right?
So your map is always safe as I said.
It won't get overwritten by map editor.

I have two questions about the map editor. First, can you place down any semaphores on a map because the only option I have it set alias? At least each country has there own. Also, I don't know if you have to have the base extracted because I didn't. Second, how come you have to export your map when making changes and when you want to quit? Shouldn't that the save button be for, not consonantly exporting?
1. Semaphores are only available as an option for prefabs, you can't just place them somewhere
2. When you hit save, it's saved. Then you have to pack all changed sectors and put it in your mod folder so they load in map editor after launching it again.
