nah roads only can give u 50xp every 60miles [100km] of free roam and all undiscovered roads are unlocked but idk why SCS decided you have to discover roads because ETS2 is the first SCS Software game that roads have now to be discovered. Kind of a dodgy move in my opinion.

That's why I started to use an economy mod where the income is much lower (and more realistic). This is a bigger challenge not to go bankrupt.rarespetrosanu wrote:hello uk_daf_fan

the highest value for a transport for me was about 170.000-180.000 euro
i have 82 garages , 154 drivers , 410 trucks - the value of my business for level 250 is about 1.3 bilion euro - which is normal after all
The economy is real my german mate

I completely agree with you. Frankly, it's a little bit boring, to make as much money for each load as on the vanilla game. It takes a little bit of the 'pressure' off of being a trucker. The levelling-up system seems a little bit too fast, as well. If I didn't have a mod to make the economy a little bit harder, plus my own personal attempts (through strategically-placed rest breaks) to match real-world driving hour limits to some degree, I would probably have become a bit frustrated with it.stummer wrote:That's why I started to use an economy mod where the income is much lower (and more realistic). In some ways, I do wonder whether the game economy is made for people who are a little more impatient and expect much quicker results than those of us who are long-term ETS2 players. It's a fact that to many of us, the game should be more about the experience of driving the trucks themselves through different areas and road types, and learning to drive them smoothly, than trying to build up your business empire as rapidly as possible. There are plenty of other games which cover such financial pursuits.
Still - It has to be said, that there are countless other computer games out there where the higher levels are essentially redundant, and only drafted in to make the player feel like they're moving forward with something!
