Whole Italy project is stopped until the release of Bella Italia DLC.

I believe Trieste is in a region far from anything to be reworked... Since it is almost in Slovenia So we don't really know if it will be there or not.

As I know, Trieste will be in 2.2.

Thank you for the fast answer. Is there then possibility to extend the area towards Istria - Pula/Pola in 2.3? Or this is too much to expect. I know that is not Italy, but Istria is gravitating towards Italy in some aspects.

There's a possibility for it but nobody can promise Pula will appear. I was there 2 years ago and I think it may fit on the map.

As with Trieste and Rijeka that you are adding in 2.2, it would be nice to complete that region, and complement it with the Balkans.

There are few options I was thinking about:

1) More time consuming one: make a A9 - A8 connection to Rijeka, followed by mountainous A 6 and A1 to Zagreb, to complete the road to the rest of Croatia (with tunnel Učka), and Balkan road system.

And to see this, it would be something special:

2) Eliminate Pula (sigh) and make A8 - A9 connection and tunnel Učka

3) simply connect it with the Slovenian border - to Pula (but not with tunnel and Rijeka), and make a connection with Zagreb and rest of Balkans

At least part of the Ipsilon. As that is important corridor.

Pula is sadly more of an appendix (due to the "diligence" of Croatian government who shut down ferry line, focusing on overpaid highways), but it would be a nice vista
