It's already night shot of this train station place too.

DLC will be released probably in December.
ProMods of course will be compatible with DLC Italy, probably will be looks same as v2.12/2.15.

^^ Hmm, Promods generally has to release a new patch that makes them compatible with the new map DLC, so we'll have some period where we just have to wait on ProMods to make it all tie together before they can start merging (a process that is still ongoing with France for example).
lvl 209 - 912000km - Scania R730 - 61% map coverage
There's no requirement for a map mod to be compatible with a DLC.
But ProMods being ProMods, ofc it has to be compatible... Assets, objects and textures aren't easy job you know
So probably a few weeks after DLC a new ProMods version will be released that'll incorporate whatever SCS is making in the DLC with the rest of ProMods.

What I meant with compatibility is that the roads connect as they should, not computer tech compatibility.

That's covered in "ProMods being ProMods"
EDIT : Regarding someone else back then mentioned Taranto : Well, the city isn't what you'd want in a trucking game (as much as the Venice representation in-game isn't the canalized parts of it or even anywhere scenic !), but I noticed there's this massive bulk / liquid terminal, so I wonder, would that be modeled in, at least in ProMods if not in SCS Italy DLC ? It looks really impressive.

Venice should not be scenic, as all the industry and truck terminals are on terraferma (mainlaind) within the town of Mestre.

At first glance their W.I.P images of the newest DLC look great, have to see how well it performs in reality. Then we can judge it more fairly.
Edit : However I'm much more optimistic for PM Bella Italia to be expanded, as before.

the highway signs look poor in comparison with the highway signs done by ProMods quality
