The spelling is correct, although one of our developers says he would pronounce it the way you suggested. But it looks like Vøytek disagrees . Why do you think it should be "Ostrów Mazowiecki"?

The thing is in Polish nouns and their adjectives have different suffixes depending on type of noun. There are three types of nouns: male, female and neuter (not sure if this is a correct word). "Ostrów" sounds like it's male type, but it's actually female type. Similarly people make a mistake and treat football club named "Zawisza" as if it was female type, while it's actually male type.

Believe me, the actual name of the town is "Ostrów Mazowiecka", and not "Ostrów Mazowiecki".

Google says "Mazowiecka". So I guess maybe your grammar is wrong ?
It is Ostrów Mazowiecka https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostr%C3%B3w_Mazowiecka, although it is exception from common form as in this list https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostr%C3%B3w.
Sorry for links in Polish, but I think that these are better in this case.
