Learn the Cyrillic alphabet, isn´t that hard and you will catch up the basics within 1 hourrockandrole18 wrote: ↑11 Oct 2017 12:28Does anyone else have some cities with Russian names instead of English? Unfortunately, I'm not near my computer right now to take a screenshot of this, but later I may edit this post to show you what I'm talking about. I am using only RusMap and Promods, none of my other mods is known to change city names. I can't really tell sometimes what are the names of some cities because of that.

@gmtavares @yoshkarola123 I had a feeling it may not be exactly Russian because it looked more similar to the English alphabet, but looking up the characters at Google Images, it still seems a bit confusing.. I could ask my English teacher (who's Russian and should know everything in between) to go over those 2 alphabets with me, but I doubt it would prove to be useful to me outside of this context. Maybe only the Latin script.
May I ask why the city names aren't simply in English like with the rest of the non-English speaking countries in the in-game's map?

that's the reason i use viewtopic.php?f=42&t=18566 in the english names only Version to avoid to overcrowed the Map with too much and too long names

Hi,
we need your full game.log, otherwise we can not help you.
It must be an error on your side, for 99% of the people here it works without problems.
Best regards,

Think of it like this: knowing it might at first not make you speak another language, but it greatly extends your horizon. Since this alphabet is not only used in Russia yet also in a few Eastern European countries (even though with slight modifications) it's very beneficial in the long run.rockandrole18 wrote: ↑14 Oct 2017 07:23@gmtavares @yoshkarola123 I had a feeling it may not be exactly Russian because it looked more similar to the English alphabet, but looking up the characters at Google Images, it still seems a bit confusing..
