Hello, I have a issue in which the game "stutters", I am not sure if thats the right word for it. When the truck moves it feels like It moves under 10fps or something out of a stopmotion film but according to my fps counter it never goes below 30 (I get around 35-50 in cities and 80-100 on the road). I never had this issue playing vanilla and I just started to notice it when I arrived in Strassbourg/France for the first time. I have tried using the "-mm_pool_size 400" on launch options and yes I have the Steam version. I have also tried lowering graphics but that change nothing.

Mods like ProMods do make the game more resource heavy then the standard game.

-mm_pool_size doesn't do anything anymore. I believe that function has been removed since the game is able to be run in x64.
Can we please see your game.log to identify your issue.

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

You've got 24GB of RAM, and you dare to run a game in 32-bit mode? :P

Please run the game in 64-bit mode, a 32-bit game is limited to only 4GB of RAM.

Change '-mm_pool_size 1200' to '-64bit'. -mm_pool_size is obsolete for as far as I know.

It happens somewhat similar to me, but in my case I'm having really bad fps/stuttering when promods is activated, to the point of reaching just 15-10 fps average in some particular areas. Vanilla game runs much better. I have a low-spec PC and I know that's like 80 % of the reason of having bad performance, but it's annoying that vanilla game runs reasonably good and promods so bad. I want so much to play with promods installed, please help me:/

These are two pastebins I made before I managed to run promods without any crash, because the game crashed like 3 times in Berlin (I had on my mod list european companies while promods was activated and sometime later I learnt that this mod is uncompatible with promods)

And this is the normal game log (not the entire one because it's really really long):

If you look closely on crash logs it says that im running the game with Intel HD3000 integrated graphics card, but that's not true because I added to nvdia control panel my dedicated graphics card. What's going on wrong here?

If you want to play ProMods as good as the base game, I strongly suggest you buy a better PC or laptop. You are only running 4GB of memory.

Code: Select all

00:00:00.000 : [mem] physical total: 3872M
00:00:00.000 : [mem] physical avail: 2059M
To run ProMods at a respectable rate, we recommend to use at least the recommended specs SCS gives you.
Which are:
RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 64-bit
Processor: Quad core CPU 3.0 GHz
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce GTX 760-class (2 GB)
Hard Drive: 3 GB available space

And, I see you are running quite a few mods besides ProMods. The more mods you run, the more memory you'll need.
Also:

Code: Select all

00:00:39.548 : [zipfs] realeurcomp.zip: Mounted, 1057 entries [0x2ce9af53]
00:00:39.548 : [mod_package_manager] Mod "Real European Companies (by Tamiel18)" has been mount. (package_name: mod_workshop_package.000000002AAA5C62, version: 1.5, source: Steam Workshop)
This isn't compatible with ProMods.

alright, thanks for the quick reply. Will have to buy a new rig sometime in the future, when I have a little bit more of cash :D

Anyway, what do you think is causing that the game chooses the integrated graphics card instead the dedicated one? I really don't understand that, maybe it's just a mistake/bug of the crash log.

And why do u think I have so many mods? These are just the few ones I have installed:

-Real European Companies (I know it isn't compatible with promods, but I will enable again since Promods is too much for my PC)
-Real European Gas Stations Reloaded
-BigBus traffic pack
-SiSL's Trailer Pack
-SiSL's Mega Pack
-SiSL's FlatUI

Real European Companies 1.5 is OK because 2.X just changes static ferry prefabs.
The problem I think it will crash more is Real European Gas Station Reloaded.
This mod is so awesome :D

Using Promods Europe 2.68 and ProMods Canada 1.3.0
