Polestar's transport and trucking screenshot thread
All good things come to an end. My exploring in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is done, so we're taking a freight back towards central Europe, or rather my homebase: Brussel.
I would've sworn there's a connection between Tallinn and Nynashamn. Anyway, since there isn't, a small trip through Finland must do.
And we're in Vartahamnen, Sweden!
This is where I shot the pictures using freecam instead of photo mode, because a big city + Renault + Jazzycat stuff overloads my game a bit.
I still love Stockholm and the ringroad.
I decided to take a small detour, in a small town near Stockholm, it has something to do with truck testing...
Da Sun!
Wasn't it obvious? Well, now it is.
High speeds!
The Renault feels very powerful round this track.
Oh, the cargo recipient is waiting. Bye Södertälje!
Fanboys won't be happy with that
Or that...
The track did have an effect on my fuel tank.
Then a big stretch of highway in which I forgot pictures, this is already near the delivery point: Helsingborg.
From Helsingborg to Köln.
The (expensive) toll for the Øresund Bridge.
Øresund Bridge and tunnel are still awesome.
Rebuilt Copenhagen? Let's have a look.
Counter-Spotting
Copenhagen has actually turned back into a great city again
AI dashboard spotting
Have a nice game of "figuring out what these AI cars are" IIRC the Peugeot from the first picture's interior is visible from the BMW's interior on the second image.
Oh damnit. Moving on.
Wanted to see the small town of Lellinge. Not interesting but probably has some purpose.
A bridge near Rødby.
Rødbyhavn
Burg auf Fehmarn
Bridge near BaF.
Gotta love the sun in this game.
The area of the most ProMods cities piled upon each other: Ruhrgebied.
Delivery in Köln.
A bridge near Antwerpen.
Considering I had some spare time left, I decided to go into Brussel and take some shots. Because holy balls, that is a nice city.
That's that.
Now visiting Heilbronn. This is near Liege Airport.
Craneview at some roadworks near Frankfurt
Trainz
The big climb...
Frankfurt Airport again...
Delivery pictures? Ain't nobody got time for that...

Time for some new drives!
I took the Actros out again. Because it's one of my favorite long-distance driving trucks. I configured it to look like a model version of the MP4 I still have on my desk.
Looks great, right? (the picture not so much, it was made with my phone and bad lighting)
Anyway, on to seeing it in-game:
We're in Herning, testing the Schwarzmüller trailers that got added. We're taking a DSV one to Zwolle.
IMO, Denmark is just such a nice and relaxed country. I love driving there.
Hamburg, the big city of harbors.
The MP4 is just a perfect Autobahn milemuncher.
Arsehat parking on the border between Germany and the NL....
I was low on fuel (don't worry, I was on 1/4 tank when I left) so I had to pull over into Arnhem to get some. These roads were challenging....
...but the tiny gas station was even more challenging.
Wrong exit, so we had to mix ourselves in Arnhem's traffic.
Welcome to the NL, where the emergency lane is opened during the rush hour.
Tight bends....
...And we made it!

I decided to update this again with two recent trips.
This was in Bilbao, IIRC. Headed towards Barcelona.
Bilbao is actually nice.
Large Spanish highways...
Even Ikea's in Spain
Border...
meeting
Nice mountains
Forgot a delivery pic so this must do.
Another one in the MAN TGS Euro 6...
This was mostly on the France DLC though.
Big brother
Hotel in Germany
Delivered!

Although I'm not able to drive it on the ProMods map, I still wanted to share some 2017 Scania shots.
Millau Viaduct
Let's see what has changed
Contrary to most people I really like the new Scania and the model and tuning in ETS is great.

Thanks a lot mate! I will be making more soon, now that I got myself some new trucks and some new goals in the gamekamilspiew wrote: ↑20 Nov 2017 17:56
Awesome idea!
All your sceenes are so great, I found many interesting
Because of the compatibility issue I'm still not using ProMods "fulltime", however I wanted to keep this thread alive so I decided to share some Special Transport pictures
This truck is very badly configured tbh, but this was right after the DLC got released so I couldn't be bothered to make a special truck for it
This incredibly wide scaffolding is very hard to drive.
A boat. And yes, I need a skin for this RJL Scania before I can use it properly.
Yeah this looks pretty nice
You call that a boat? Pffff
Downloaded this Mammoet pack, looks even more bad*ss now!
Although I still dislike the BMW as Dutch police car (we don't and have never had a BMW E60 as police car), this looks nice.
The convoy which came to the destination (such a shame about the green parking markers)

Was out for a while, ETS with ProMods just sort of stopped running on my old battered PC, then my keyboard died and I didn't have time nor money to get replacement parts.
Luckily I got a new setup, new GFX card/CPU, new keyboard so it's back to business.
A lot of shots for you today: more old shots of the areas in which my old setup coped (barely) but also some shiney new shots: I hope the difference is clear enough (it is while playing at least)
MAN E6 with appropriate trailer, driving from San Sebastián to Huesca, with that new mountain pass included.
The mountains look pretty ace.
Permasnow areas...
This road is pretty spectacular, luckily the heavy set up MAN coped perfectly.
Nice road, well done PM devs
You know what, just enjoy the shots of the view.
Arriving in Huesca, a cozy little town which is also detailed well. Nice, but not for my old GFX card
Anyway.
Re-modified my old RJL Scania, got the Skane Edition skin, looks better now!
Got me this nice Schweppes trailer. Makes me thirsty!
The wide "Ruhrgebieter Autobahns".
Der Rhein!
I delivered this trailer somewhere in France, Rennes if I recall correctly.
There's the new shiney version of that same Scania! Ignore the screen ratio btw, I still use a 1920x1080 monitor myself, but the guy I tested my new PC at (where I made this screenshot) uses a wider one.
This also means my PC can finally run the Range T on a bit decent fps, so I remodified that one as well, got me a new trailer and delivered some things from Barcelona to Irun.
That all looks way better, doesn't it?
That same bridge/tunnel (tridge/bunnel?)
My shiney new Scania, I really like this truck for no apparent reason.
Later than I hoped, I discovered this new trailer which is used to deliver Iveco vans. So I had to try that out in the Italy DLC.
Letting Renaults eat our dust
You might be asking yourself why I'm not using an Iveco for this, simply because the time has destroyed the Iveco and they're just not enjoyable to use.
Some nice architecture around Milan.
Wanted to try out the new route from London to Calais, using the new Channel Tunnel. So I got me the old DAF with a nice skin, and I really enjoy driving it.
I actually visited the UK last summer, I rented a cottage near Sevenoaks, which makes this sign very familiar to me
Mighty mighty thing.
The new tunnel is very nice, a bit big in comparision to the rest of the area but I guess when the UK gets a thurrow rebuild it will blend right in.
In Calais, where a 40 km/h Combine created a bit of a weird situation...
Although not really the best way in progress, an interesting challenge
Next: I found myself in Elblag, with the Euro 6 DAF. So I planned a trip to Taranto and it's still in progress but I decided to share some shots already.
Clean design as you might've found out yourself, but it works for me.
Sunset...
Wien, very nice!
More Wien...
The police is always watching you
To be continued!
