Hi,
I read in this forum that the development of promods for ATS is stalled since the last update (v 1.29). Anyway, looking the excellent works done by promods team for ETS2, it maybe still a long time to replicate the same thing for ATS. However, I think ATS deserves the same thing as its counterpart especially for the map expansion.
Is there any map Expansion suitable for ATS v 1.29 that added the whole America (better if it also includes Canada)? last time I tried the latest version of coast2coast map expansion, but too bad it crashed. I read somewhere that ATS v 1.29 doesn't compatible with mod apart from real company/trailer mod. is it true?
if you happen to know the suitable map expansion as I stated above, could you share the link and also the load order?
Thanks
ATS 1.29 Whole America Map
You don't really won't to play on Coast to coast or Canadream. Quality is too bad. Except of some states, landscape is always same, only grass is in different color, dependent of climate.
No real landmarks and sceneries, no realistic interchanges, copied ciites...
Only more or less good map is Mexico map.

Coast 2 Coast works with 1.29, I've tried it myself. It's also compatible with the Mexico map and Canadream. Get rid of your other mods and follow the install instructions for Coast 2 Coast and you will be fine.
However, the Coast 2 Coast is pretty boring. Like brainiac said, it's just the same terrain over and over again so it's not fun to drive really.

I think it's good if there are some of members here started creating their expansion map for ATS. It shouldn't direct to the whole america map. You can make one, two or several states, the gradually increasing the expansion. ATS is actually a good game, but too bad, not much supports compared to its counterpart.

This is not as irrelevant as it seems tbh, the stock SCS interchanges are an easy way to make big progress, but custom interchanges show that every area has been detailed to even the smallest details possible. So it's not a bad thing to care about custom intersections, imho.smith121363 wrote: ↑13 Dec 2017 04:55Is that all that you care about? That seems to be the main focus of your posts all over this forum. Just saying. LOL

I also think custom interchanges are important, because it looks like scs took interchanges from older games of 18 WoS series and put them into ETS2 and ATS. For sure they are trying to improve, good examples are new DLCs, but still vanilla ETS2 and DLC East have horrible interchanges. ATS is different, SCS learned someting and improved old network a lot.
As great as custom interchanges are, they are not an indicator as to how well detailled an area is.
