First loading will always take a lot of time (well, 2 minutes for me, not really bad) if a base map/ProMods/RusMap/any other map mod is added or updated in your list of active mods. But after that's done and you won't change anything, your game will load ridiculously fast. It never happened before and I play this game since the release.
Trust me, that's not a big deal for you. It'll only happen once in weeks or months. So just eat something in the meantime
We have to deal with it everyday. When developing and testing stuff, I launch the game many times a day and I have to wait about 2 minutes every time, because of changes that happened in our development version of the map...
So, I think there's no reason to complain, especially if you get almost non-existaent loading time the next time you launch the game

Alright, I'm going to say this again:
REGS v1.x is compatible with ProMods. It has to be placed above the map in the mod manager. REGS v2.x is not, since it modifies some static map items (the ferries in a couple places)
I know this because I use REGS v1.x with ProMods.

How many times have you started the game? It only loads a long time on the very first start

I'm not complaining, I'm just pointing stuff out. If Promods would be "that" bad that I would complain I wouldn't donate either
It worried me the first time, but knowing that the issue is known and has a simple explanation is good enough for me. Keep it up.

Lastly ..One I have a saved game can i load extra mods or will it crash the game??

If the mods are compatible you can just add them and load a save and continue from there. I would advice only adding after you finished a job though. You can always make a back up save just in case.

Does that mean that I have to disable the DLC to get ProMods going? The game freezes for me or am I just impatient?
