Scs did say in that blog, that the 101 road will start in Los Angeles and end in Astoria. That city is right next to the Washington state border,so it's easy to go up north from Astoria, well maybe someday.

Washington ain't gonna be next tbh. They say that for the full length of the US 101 (and also I-5) you'll have to wait for Washington DLC and that means (for me) that they will release it, at least some day (for sure, if not with Idaho there will be a senseless gap). The order that is the most probably is Oregon -> Utah -> Idaho -> Washington -> Colorado -> Wyoming -> Texas -> Montana. There you are, for a couple of years :3

Washington after Oregon, it would be possible. We did get New Mexico before Utah.

Utah hasn't been released yet xD. I guess you mean Arizona.
Imagine that SCS is posting about a future release of Utah and they say "We show you some more pictures of the I-80, which from now on you'll be able to drive from Elko to Wahsatch but sadly you will have to wait for us to release the New York DLC to drive it all its way". Now I ask you, would that mean that in such case the next DLC would be NY? ¬¬

We have New Mexico, Utah isn't released. So we got NM before UT. Shiva's sentence makes sense to me.

Vøytek, yep, I meant it like that. Utah not released, while New Mexico is. SCS could have done Utah before NM, but did not.
% Utah is not that much larger than Washington. While NM is almost 50%larger than Utah.
IF they do Washington as the DLC after Oregon, then it would open up more possibilities if they get 2 ATS mapping teams.
Utah, it does not need any unreleased map DLC's. Colorado needs Utah.
Washington needs the coming Oregon DLC.
Idaho needs Oregon, Utah and Washington, to be viable. And Montana too, actually.
Montana needs Idaho
Wyoming needs Utah, Colorado and Idaho too.
Texas can work without any new DLC's
While Oklahoma does need Texas.
It IS possible that Utah will come out before Washington, but it can be the other way around too.
Texas, could be after Oregon. It would be the biggest single state DLC "excluding Alaska". And even bigger if they add Oklahoma to it.
I wonder when will they start to do map pack DLC's?
ETS2 map sizes have been somewhere around 130k sq mi / 340k km². Italia DLC the smallest with 71k sq mi / 185k km². The size of the state of Washington.
Texas, it could be possible? for SCS to do it as a standalone DLC, that would not require the base game ATS "California, Nevada, Arizona", but would work with it.
oops.... "Post Reply" ≠ "Submit reply".

Some of you may recall that some months ago SCS posted that they divided their ATS team in two, so they could make DLCs much more faster. It was posted when Oregon was confirmed or so. Anyone has stated yet that they could be doing Oregon as well as Washington and merge them as a pack. They haven't said anything of Washington yet but it could be a surprise. OR a team could be doing Oregon while the other team would be doing Utah, which is smaller.

It's going to be a decade before they get to the entire USA at this rate, but hey, it's going to be a wild ride.
