I checked, and all 7 extracted mod files are in the folder. Does it say otherwise in he game log?Josh0 wrote: ↑14 May 2018 01:54@KGlife, your game's home directory is: 'C:/Users/kirki/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2'. The mod folder that the game uses is inside that directory. The only files in your mod folder are:Neither of these files appear to be valid, the game does not recognize the contents:
- promods-def-v226
- promods-v226
If you wish your game to use a different home directory, you must add a "-homedir" parameter to the game's launch options. You can do this in Steam:Code: Select all
00:00:05.566 : <WARNING> [mod] Mod package 'promods-def-v226' does not contain a manifest file 'manifest.sii', creating default information set. 00:00:05.567 : <WARNING> [mod] Mod package 'promods-v226' does not contain a manifest file 'manifest.sii', creating default information set.
- Right-click on the game title in the Steam Library window, choose "Properties"
- In the General tab, click the "Set Launch Options" button
- Add the "-homedir" option and desired directory path in the box. For example, if you want your home directory to be in "E:\gamedata":
Code: Select all
-homedir E:\gamedata

I fixed it! Yaaaaay. The game didn't recognize the mods because they were in a folder... which was still in the mod folder, but I guess the files can't be in any other folder inside the MOD folder. If the game crashes again, I should be back here soon...
So a wrong folder issue.
Congratulations and enjoy the ProMods map mod
