Yes we have to wait until the next patch is released which is compatible with 1.31 then.

you can still choose to disable the update to stay on 1.30 to play on your ProMods profile

Considering how much the moderators/owners of this forum obviously hates questions about updates:
How about making a closed sticky with ETA on the next updates when it's about big changes like this one? E.g. "we hope to be compliant with the upcoming version x.y of ETS2 by the end of May". It would help both you and the users of Promods to make this a happier place to be. Information is the key.
Or else you will just have to keep answering these kind of questions from here to eternity

We do not give any ETA ever.
Why not, you may ask?
Because we get lots of mad users when we don't make the ETA.
Not making it to the ETA, can be cause by lots of things. Like unforeseen bugs, hard to fix bugs, a meteorite smashing into Earth.
The closest thing we can give to an ETA is:
I'll be released after the previous version.
So basically no, no, no, no, no, we ain't going to give an ETA. And keep answering these questions in the same way as always:

I think anyone who posts here asking about the release of the compatibility patch for 1.31 are like me and countless others; addicted to Promods : only without the patience to wait. You guys work tirelessly and creatively making ETS2 perhaps the best simulation ever, well at least the best truck simulator. On its own ETS 2 is bland, Promods is the icing on the cake. Take as long as you need to guys; cause we know that once you have finished, we can get back to enjoying all that Promods brings the the simulation. It's when things get rushed that errors occur.
