Probably when the beta ends. If I remember correctly, SCS once said they'll do the betas via Steam only.

Had troubles reading? The answer has been given a few times already, as well as a warning that ProMods 1.62 doesn't work on ETS2 1.11.

ProMods update will follow the official v1.11 release, no current map mod works with the v1.11 beta.

This question has been answered many times by both devs and players, so maybe try using the search before posting a new thread about an issue already covered by multiple threads. I'm gonna be nice and give you the answer here. ProMods 1.7 will come AFTER the full release of 1.11. How long after is up to the devs, although they are trying their hardest even with idiots asking the same question thread after thread after thread.

I held the update off for a few weeks now, just today it forces me to update... is there any way i can play without the update? I don't want to update, just continue where i left the last time! I love this version as is, i don't need the crappy "only scandinavia and 3 crappy towns" update... I want to drive all over europa and russia!
Isn't it strange that i can't decide for myself what i want to update and what not??? I payed for this copy! Well, if that's how they want it, then i have to crack it and run it on a "virtual" steam... So much for honest work....

There's an option in Steam that enables/disables automatic updates - but it seems as Steam is ignoring this option. You should report this issue to Steam, and (if enough people do the same) hopefully Steam will fix it.

Yea, that will fix it. I just like playing with the new versions cause of the new trucking sounds! Much more realistic and at it's core, it's about the trucks so I love the new update so I will likely love the next Promods because as always, you bring allot more cities in every update.
