I tried using promods 2.26 for ets2 1.30 and it loaded halfway and crashed. I didn't want to disable my other mods (no damage, offline car mod, money multiplier- im lazy), so I disabled the promods def and assets mods, which were the only ones that showed up when I unpacked them. Then I try to load the game again, and the promods loading screen pops up, it loads just over half, and crashes. I started a new profile in Luxembourg with the Scania S preferred truck design, and only loaded promods, and the game still crashes halfway. Worse still, when I enable the other mods (and disable promods) to play my first profile, the game tells me the mods are not enabled, loads the promods screen, and crashes again. please help

Hi,

please read the big red box above your post. Without a game.log, we can not help you.

What? :? Only the "def" and "assets" files appeared in your Mod Manager?

Those were the only .scs files that appeared after I unpacked part 1 with WinRAR. Parts 2 through 7 only showed errors, though according to the help page, they had already unpacked themselves along with part 1.

@Gamer X99, that sounds like a problem. All seven parts of the .7z archive are needed, but as you pointed out you only open part ".001.7z" to extract the files - 7zip/WinRAR will automatically process the other .7z files for you. A total of 6 files should have been extracted: assets, model1, model2, model3, media, and map. If you received errors while extracting then part(s) of the .7z archive are corrupt/truncated and therefore need to be redownloaded.

part ".001.7z"
That might be the problem for me. It's not downloading as ".001.7z", it's showing up as ".7z.001". Parts 2 through 7 show up in FIle Explorer as non-7z files, so that may be why they are showing up as corrupt.

My apologies, I misspoke. It is ".7z.001".

It is ".7z.001".
In that case, it should still recognize the numbers as 7z files, right? Because it isn't.

7zip and WinRAR should recognize the files, but only if the files are named exactly the same except for the last number. Can you provide a screenshot of the .7z files showing the file extensions and file sizes?
