Hello, to return to the subject, I reproduced on Google Maps, the trip used in the game and I added in red, the route taken in reality to go to the Paris region from La Rochelle(I took Gonesse by example, a municipality already present). Note also that the game also offers to go through Rochefort and Saintes, the RD137 and the A837.
Alexis. You can solve problem of lack of prefabs: Promods France prefabs can be UV-mapped with SCS textures (I know what I am talking about: I am making my own prefabs).jdenm8 wrote: ↑04 Aug 2018 15:36We replace wholesale because the difference between new and old is massive.
I made a start on re-integrating Tours by getting it into the then-current version of ETS2, but the difference in mapping style and assets was enormous. Added to that, SCS had made connections in the area that we hadn't. We were also missing multiple prefabs from the France Set that we would need to replicate functionality we had in Tours.
Not long into the update, we decided to just completely restart from scratch. I've since put the project on hold to work on other areas to come up with a decent plan for a new Tours. I already had plans for what I'm currently working on and on some other rebuilds in Poland. A number of us are preoccupied with updating the incredibly outdated work there.
We haven't begun to restore more cities because we're still wrapping up projects that have been in progress since before DLC France launched.

That doesn't change the fact that FR roads are a completely different width to PM/FLD roads. Additionally, the texture work on the old prefabs leaves a lot to be desired.
Curry?! My manual doesn't have any data on curry... What's the meaning of this...?!
And add Nîmes? Montpellier was built too big by scs so if you rebuilt Montpellier complety in the future... Avignon could be add also.
All parties in the North (Bretagne [Rennes], Loire-Atlantique [Nantes], Normandie [Caen, Rouen, Le Havre] and Haut-de-France [Lille, Calais, Amiens?, Laon?]) will have to be rebuilt also in the future for me. Hoping this will be planned.

Road signs in general need an overhaul in France with realistic targets like Germany has (or other countries) and distance signs would be more than welcome on the highways.

I agree with message higher
There are no distance road signs in France at all.
