If you randomly take enough people from 100000, distribution will be very similar.MG Mike wrote: ↑15 Aug 2018 12:58Brainiac,
I know what you mean.
But I Only mean there are over 100.000 user in the Promods Forum.
Now they have chance to give Feedback what they would prefer.
And until now only almost 270 People have voted..
If more would do, it were better.
But in the main sight you're right. The most are for the first possibility. And it seems not that would change radically.
But so or so.. There is still some days untill the team would look at the results.
1.32 and Germany

i refuse to go to that beta. I had a lot of issues in the ATS beta long time ago. After the dlc of New Mexico it got a lot of errors. I'm also loyal to the ProMods Map Mod which is in my opinion more worth it then the new update of scs later.
I havent had any errors with this beta. It works perfect if you dont use any mods of course.

I've only seen videos myself and like the highways and new textures a lot but I'm sure that the Promods cities are far more detailed. Importing the models, textures and parts of the highways seems like the best move.
Plus I also have a hard time playing ETS2 without Promods as well as Rusmap and Southern Region.

Don't forget additional 12% who want only Promods Germany.
So, 66% for Promods' Germany, 34% or SCS' Germany. I hope that developers will decide according to this. Ofcourse, after 10 days.

As we're voting on the forum of a mod, it's only natural that people want to keep having the experience of the mod...improved by the base content. Do the same poll on SCS and you probably get the exact opposite as result.

Yep, I feel the same as the above.
I don't think ProMods users are bad at their choice, but they are blinded what they have. ProMods Germany is great, for sure, but SCS Germany is in some part better. Especially with the new textures.
IMO ProMods Germany should be entirely replaced by SCS new Germany, and ProMods cities need to be updated and placed into the new Germany using the new assets and textures.
Keeping the old Germany is just non-sense.

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

You want a game map?
You get a game map! (ETS2 (WIP))
You get a game map! (ATS (WIP))

Logically, Promods Germany should be kept and those better parts should be put in map.Volleybal4life wrote: ↑16 Aug 2018 09:32I don't think ProMods users are bad at their choice, but they are blinded what they have. brainiac wrote: ↑12 Aug 2018 19:33Mandelsoft shows that in some parts he did better job than Promods. The best is to have the best from both SCS and Promods. Problem is the way: In France, they also wanted to have the best from Promods and DLC. They replaced all Promods content with DLC. Then there wasn't developer and 2 years passed. Now old Promods France is too old and can't be recovered.
Because of that, I hope that ARP won't be replaced by SCS. SCS will always have up-to-date map and Promods team can add new SCS content which is better than Promods when they want. If part of ARP will be replaced and sheduled for returning, there is high probability that it will be gone forever.
