Hi,

If you're like me and can't wait for the release want the DLC now, I have bad news. Not gonna happen.
But I also have some good news! At instant-gaming you can pre-order the DLC (steam key) with 32% discount directly at lounge.

If you're missing a few earlier released ATS DLCs, wait for the Oregon release on steam. Usually SCS also provides a power bundle were you can buy other DLC with some hefty discounts.

The DLC is expected somewhere in October according to the Steam page:

Hope this helps!

I'm confused. How can you have a discount on a price that hasn't been announced?

As far as the steam bundle goes, it's usually a good deal even if you have all the other DLCs because you'll usually get a small discount on Oregon itself. (That is assuming they do a bundle deal)

According to Instant-Gaming, the DLC retail price is 13 euro ($15). That would also be in line with the New Mexico DLC price.
Steam resellers usually get the price already once a game (or addon) is available for the Steam wishlist. That allows them to setup special launch portals and alike.

SCS is usually very consistent with the steam bundles as it draws extra attention to older DLCs and these DLCs are every now and then on sale already.

Considering the price of NM was €11.99/$11.99 as bigfoot said interested how they put a price on when officially no price has been set and having a "discount". Which leads to questioning this site and key seller leading onto another topic which I won't go into details as probably most people know about.

Instant Gaming guarantees your key! If the price goes up, the difference if theirs. If the price becomes lower at launch they refund you the difference.
A few months ago I bought the Assetto Corsa Competition as a pre-order and received my key on the day of launch.

Of course you can also wait until launch date and buy a key then. Usually the discount remains available. The New Mexico DLC can be bought for only 5 euro ($6).
American Truck Simulator Is only 4 euro ($4.73).

Instant Gaming also has a wishlist feature that can send you notification for multiple (selectable) events.

That was my point, how did they know the site wasn't discounting a "marked up" price. I had never heard of them so was understandably skeptical. I just didn't want to see my fellow truckers get conned.

You get the discount on the final price. So if the price drops, the refund you the difference.
Instant Gaming (IG) probably works just like G2A with key providers. However IG hides this for their customers and guarantee a valid and working key. You also don't need additional services that 'protect' you can scamming key sellers.

I know that a lot of ETS2/ATS are on a budget. So a 30% discount makes it easier om them to purchase new DLCs. If you don't trust the IG, place the DLC on you're IG wishlist and you get a notification once keys are available and then purchase a key. IG usually offers the discount also after the game/DLC is released.

Exactly this topic I didn't want to get into but seems it's a grey market seller and personally I won't be purchasing from them as for a fact know those keys would most likely not be coming from official, developers/publishers. Notice again coming back to the price of how they do they know price when Officially hasn't been set and yet still not same as NM price. Just guess price and simple "discount" to actually make it look cheaper.

And since that site isn't listed here (https://isthereanydeal.com/) as most reliable sites are and something I found out, checking on steam a good way of knowing is by putting their URL on a steam discussion/page and what a surprise link gets filtered and blocked by Steam/Valve.

So for me no thanks not risking buying from there and not supporting developers/publishers will purchase from steam knowing 100% helping developers/publishers.

EDIT: Just wanted to come back at the price thing, they're also selling Baltics DLC and retail price is set at £16 out of all the DLCs SCS released on steam not one of them has been higher than the game itself of currently priced at £14.99. Never mind that the ETS2 map DLCs has been priced at $17.99/€17.99/£13.49. That's is pretty strong proof of this seller setting the retail at a marked up price pretty much guessing and pretending to have a "discount". :x

Yes but if you buy it from a third party website, doesn't that mean that SCS Soft get none of the money? I'd rather pay more and support this company that truly deserves it unlike a COD (which I'd gladly buy from a Kinguin or instant gaming)
