Turkey Map exists, so you don't have to do it. Making Iraq and Syria is a good idea. Very good project :)

A map of Europe already existed called base map and PM improved it.
The existing map of Turkey has bad quality AND the wrong scale. ProMods builds stuff in the correct scale.
Just saying that that's not a reason not to do Turkey.
ProMods isn't a mod, it's a game.

The newest version of Turkey Map (1.33) has better quality. The scale also was fixed in this version.

Hello,

I will not take position on new 1:19 Turkey map, because I haven't seen it.
This topic is also not the place to discuss about it.

Now, I'll solve the question of compatibility with other maps like this :

- Middle-East add-on is designed for Promods. So, compatibility will be assured for future versions of Promods

For other maps, compatibility is not guaranteed. Remember that, as I'm the only one working on Middle-East project, I will have to test and decide one by one

- For the maps I also use, like RusMap, I will try to test them quickly and maintain the compatibility.

- For other maps which I don't use personally, but not overlapping the Mid-East area, they must be considered as 'should work, without guarantee'
I'll be interested to know from other users if they effectively work or not.

- For maps which could overlap (now or later) my development projects, I will try to follow the progress on those projects.
-> If I estimate them as good quality (criteria is simply that I also like to drive them personally), I will not enter the area and do my best to maintain compatibility
-> If I estimate them as poor quality, sorry, but I will just ignore them and continue my planned projects.

In any case, I'm still far from Turkey and North Africa :-)

Regards,
Platypus

A very wise and logical explanation. And I agree with your choice 100%. Thank you for your time and effort to create this addon map.

Hello,

Beirut is now completely upgraded. Here three pictures. I included the airport and the famous sea rocks in front of the city :

Hey Platypus,
looks great!
Out of which city, which is your (Platypus) favorite city that you've built?
Greetings

How does one get from Lebanon to Israel if the border is closed and you can't go through Syria?
