Hi
This is my first time map editing after a while, I tried opening the editor but it never loads. Its just a black screen resulting in me having to shut down ETS2 or restart my pc completely. If anyone can help that would be great, it was working the day before then over night its doing this. Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Did you extract base.scs and def.scs files?
Background changes when you press "A" key?
Camera changes when you press "C" key?
Can you teleport to a city? For example open console with ( " ) ky and type "goto berlin".

There is no way that you don't have def.scs file. It is the essential file of the game unless you use cracked version. Follow this topic;

I have the legally bought version on Steam, but I have the base.scs file I must have misplaced it some time ago. I've got the ets2 editor working, for some reason I have to CTRL + ALT + DEL for it to load up.
Thanks
