Sunrise over Moldova.

A giant shuttlecock fell from the sky and impacted the ground just 1km ahead of us. Luckily, being made of cheap and light plastic, it did little damage to the surrounding terrain. I shudder to think what would have happened to the sundry consumables we're carrying to various petrol station convenience shops had it hit us though.

Ruined houses near the border... nice.

And another reminder of the war...

Time to get those papers ready again. And some quality bottles of vodka, just in case.

Back in Romania, approaching the first turn-off to Bacau.

There it is.

Making good progress south. Driving 'a rigid', or at least this one by Madster, is a little tricky as it bounces all over the place when the roads are rough. Something to do with the fact that ETS2 doesn't have proper physics for 'rigids', maybe. I guess it behaves like a very big but very light cab? I don't know, but it's a fun challenge and it's nice to photograph something different for a change.

At the scenery town marking the 2nd turn-off to Bacau, a local retired border guard seems to have built a house identical to their former place of work. Very strange...

Instead of turning right/North to Bacau (which will be in the next set) we turned left/South to Bucharest, and found ourselves on a motorway. Well, kind of. Top speed 100km/h, which is much faster than the probably ex-motorway I went on by the coast near Ravenna in Italy during my last holiday, which had 2 lanes in each direction, overgrown concrete barriers, plenty of holes and bumps, and a speed limit of 50 km/h.

Factory next to a roundabout that interrupted our speedy passage.

Back on the motorway, we meet roadworks, of course.

Scenery town north of Bucharest. Getting ready to turn East and make our first petrol station shop delivery.
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/lqQx6MV.png)
Well!
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/NDasQnm.png)
Heading Eastwards... hoping the petrol station has a loo and a coffee machine, or at least some conveniently placed bushes.

First delivery done, we are approaching Bucharest from the North. Baltic Sea assets in evidence here. I wonder if the modder was like, 'yay, new stuff I can use in Romania' and then a few months later 'I don't believe it, SCS are doing Romania next'. Or perhaps they knew, but wanted their region to look its best for a few more months.
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/aT39LFU.png)
Nearly there.
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/vcmo8HM.png)
Wonder what the locals think about this...

Heading along the northern part of the ring road above the capital. Now, THIS is a crane. Would like to see this replace the ancient crane assets used everywhere.

Bucharest and its surroundings have had a lot of work done on them.
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/zB9Eowg.png)
Aiming for our next delivery to the West of the city.

Here we are, 2 garages in nondescript surroundings between Bucharest and Sibiu.
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/Pvig4OH.png)
After that, went back to Bucharest and took the southern part of the ring road past the station to our final delivery point.
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/DzP4hZ6.png)
Delivery complete.

Impressed by the city, we went to buy a garage there.

Just about to make that purchase. Very cool part of the ProMods map.
Back again soon, I hope. Cheers!
