I hope that ProMods ATS will expand all of the Americas except the United States, including South America. Come on!
Considering that trucks can not drive between North America and South America, it is highly unlikely that ProMods or SCS will ever do South America in American Truck Simulator. South America would have to be a standalone map mod unless someone makes a fictional ferry route. As SCS and ProMods go for realism, that most likely will never come from them.
Scania trucks are the best, but the Peterbilts are good
Road signs are just as important as the road itself.

Yes the mods such as US Expansion and C2C, which cover areas within the US are not good quality, but IMO the Mexico ones are pretty good
Yup, Viva Mexico and Mexico Extremo are nice ones.
However Mexxsimap has some issues :)

There's a port connection from Panama in Central America that connects to Columbia in South America. So yes, it is realistic for shipments to go from the U.S to South America.

That's would quite interesting to see in-game. There are many signs like this throughout BC most on HWY 99 and 17.

Do you mean containers, or even semi trucks?
The latter I can not find.
2014 and or 2015 there was a ferry.
Youtube video of a Semi Truck in Monaco 2011. Route driven. Possible modern ETS2 routes 1 and 2 and their combinations.
ProMods v2.33 and RusMap v1.8.1 load order for ETS2 1.34
