1.38 incompatible

The mods keep saying i am missing the scandinavian dlc. I tried reinstalling the mods and the dlc. ANyone else having issues with te 1.38 update?

Hi Leboing,

ProMods 2.46 is not compatible with ETS2 version 1.38. You need to downgrade ETS2 to 1.37 to keep playing with the mod.

If your using steam then yes (its certainly possible with other play options but I use steam so can only help you there). For steam you simply need to re-select the 1.37 oculus beta branch. This is done in the same way you did it originally....

1. Goto Library - Home menu
2. Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 from your game list
3. Select properties from the menu
4. Select the BETAS tab
5. From the drop down select 'oculus_previous - Oculus/Vive - 1.37' from the list
6. Wait for the 1.2GB update download to complete (basically reversing the 1.2GB update to 1.38)
7. Play as previously


Once ProMods (and any other mods your using) are updated to work with 1.38 you can use the same options to set this back to 1.38, redownload any mods that needs to be replaced and then play on 1.38. But for now this should get you running back on 1.37
