So. I cross from Germany into Italy, get a short ways down the road to the cloverleaf heading to Milano and then a bit of stutter and crash to desktop. Let me see here...

Crazy. Ok, so, updated from nVidia drivers 446.14 to 451.67, nope, still crashed. Going on the fact you mentioned VRam I went into the graphic settings and turned the settings set to Ultra down to High, which with a 1070 Ti on a driving sim I shouldn't have to but... *shrugs* , and that fixed it. Weird.
