Turkish is being accepted and is the offical language of the city BUT every country has different localisation. For instance istanbul is translated (in greek) as Κωνσταντινούπολη Konstantinoúpoli or Alexandroupolis is translated as Dedeağaç in turkish. Official name of Istanbul is Istanbul not Constantinopol and Official name of Alexandroupolis is Alexandroupolis not Dedağaç. So in turkish it is İskenderiye but in french it is Alexandrette.

What about South Turkey ? Is it coming with 2.50 ?
No, sorry, not enough time to finish it.
Concerning Middle-East add-on, 2.50 will be mainly a compatibility release (with 1.38 and PM 2.50)
Bugs are however fixed, but the only new road is the link between Damascus and Iraq. No new cities.
Thanks for answer. Good work :)

The examples you mentioned have nothing to do with. Take another look at the map and realize you're talking blankly... Istanbul is not Konstantinoúpoli or something, but Istanbul.
Please learn the city names in Turkish, not French, Greek.
If it has changed due to the language of the game, I don't have a word for it.

Hello,

The language in which a city name appears on the map is function of the language of your game. So, if you game is in :

- Turkish, you'll see of course 'Iskenderun'.
- English, you'll see 'Iskenderun' too, because there's no official translation, so it uses the original turkish name
- French, you see 'Alexandrette', which is the official french translation.

If you have a look to 'Iskenderun' article in Wikipedia and then you change the language, you just have the same thing.
It's so for a lot of cities in the world. Ex : 'London' is 'Londres' in French, 'Londra' in Turkish.

I hope it's now more clear.

... can i play ME add-on without using ProMods map? Is it possible?
No, it's not possible at all. I don't see even the purpose of this ...

There is already an existing map mod witch cities Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye.
Couldn't you agree between yourself not to overlap your sectors?
Sorry, but as said from the beginning, we DON'T ensure compatibility. It would just be not possible to coordinate all of this.
We already have a lot of work to keep it aligned with SCS changes ...
Also, the plan is defined from long time ago : viewtopic.php?f=2&t=30006&start=481 and I'll keep this way.
You can however note that I can possibly expand it, like for Osmaniye that was not originally planned.

... I personally would wish for more Middle East / African, desert style areas.

So far I'm loving it, although I don't like the very small driving distances between cities, just crossed the intersection, blop you in another city.
I'll love to see more rural roads like was added in Iraq. and it would be lovely to see some site seen sites. like the pyramids, or the Dances' palace.

I think Kocaeli also one of the most important city for industrial zones that should be located on this corridor :) Good luck with this plan. It would be hard i know...because im working 1:1 scale on Turkey and Turkey is the hardest country ever about terrain and city creation...
