Downgrade ETS2

Hello all!

I have the disc version of Euro Truck Simulator 2, haven't played it for a while, but pretty sure I'm on 1.38...

How do I downgrade it? Otherwise I cannot use ProMods...

I don't have Steam, or isn't the picture from Steam?

If you don't have Steam then you can't downgrade to an older version unless you have a backup installer for that version. The last legacy version with ProMods compatibility was 2.33 for ETS2 1.34, as BtBS & RttBS can only be bought via Steam, so you're looking for a 1.34 installer.

I have the disc version of ETS2, so I don't think I have installers? Might be wrong cause I installed my game in 2013/2014 or something like that. Don't really remember...

I guess no ProMods for me
I hope this will be fuxed soon...

Although, what hapoens if I use ProMods with the 1.38. Just curious

Mod Manager won't let you load it because it is marked as compatible only with the version it was designed for. You can remove this but it will crash when you try to load it.

What was the last version of ProMods you used?

... you can always start using Steam and buy ETS2: now it costs only 5 euros!
even the DLS are discounted!

I you have the base game, Going East or Scandinavia you can enter the CD keys to get a Steam copy.

Any idea how to do it? If not, no problem I'll try to find it!

What happens if I don't have the DLCs? Will the DLC cities just not work, or will nothing work?
