Development on version 1.x (British Columbia Edition)
I kind of don't understand why Promods would care about SCS updates in the existing part of the map. Look what does Reforma team. They really don't care about what SCS does in their area because SCS will never reach their quality.

You are exactly right @flight8050.
As for @brainiac I don't agree with you. SCS their quality is IMO better than reforma team, but I dont want to start a big discussion about that.
For us it's just easier to focus on Canada (for now). Who knows, maybe one day we do more in the US but right now we will only build a few roads towards the border with Canada.

Yes, better to not discuss our opinions about which quality is better.
Also yes, the easiest is to avoid SCS area.

If you are expecting to get an answer with a specific release date, you will be disappointed: as is the case for all volunteer modding projects, it will be released when it is ready. Even SCS doesn't give dates for their paid DLC until a few weeks remain for development.matygamer01 wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020 15:47hello to everyone, how is the progress about development of Brithis Columbia Promod map? If you are expecting a general answer, the mod is coming along very well with development taking place in several parts of southern BC. A few months ago there was some discussion between whether to release the first version of BC as planned or to delay it to combine it with some scenic roads and two towns. My personal preference (and a popular sentiment on the blog) is the first option, but I don't know what the team decided.

Hey guys - It's been a little while since we've shown any progress here, so I thought I'd give you a bit of a progress update.
The good news is that all the gaps in the map have now been filled, which means all the actual scenery for 1.0 is done. The largest remaining job now is to fill the map with signage and to fix the bugs that our beta testers are now reporting.
We're not too sure how long signs and bug fixing will take, but we're definitely getting closer to release now. (I won't give an estimate because that hasn't gone so well in the past )
Anyway, with that said, hows about an easy game of guess the location?
