Hello everybody, I hope you're enjoying all the new stuff in ProMods 2.50.

Here's a quick round up of Iceland rebuild progress:

As the rebuild moves around to the north it is inevitable that the snowline comes back into question. As per the results of the discord poll, the snow will not be removed. That being said I would like to ask for your opinions on where best to put the snowline in the future. Here are the options, read carefully:


Option A: Leave it as it is. Borgarnes rebuild and Snæfellsnes peninsula in snow. Greater area with limited assets. Reduced scope for new scenery. Heavily reliant on new snow textures. Potentially less time consuming.*

Option B: Borgarnes rebuild and Snæfellsnes peninsula in summer. See the amazing vistas of Snæfellsnes in summer making full use of newer DLC grass textures and 100+ kilometres of gravel road. Borgarnes also in summer. Vestfirðir entirely in snow. Less reliant on new snow textures. Potentially more time consuming.

Option C: See Vestfirðir in summer and winter. My preferred option. Another 100+ kilometres of gravel roads over option B. Gives players the option to drive the incredible Westfjords in one season on the way out, and the other season on the way back.

Option D: Arrive in Iceland in Summer, Egilsstaðir will eventually be (re)built in summer. Potential for more gravel roads.

Option E: Keep the snow in the highlands to make everywhere consistent with the season in-game. Essentially ruled out by the discord poll.

Please tell me why you would prefer whichever option so I have more to work with than the yes/no of the original poll.
* Option A will be difficult to carry out as Borgarnes is already 80% rebuilt in summer.

I agree, don't need to make it too complicated, better if you focus your amazing skills at rebuilding of the cities, the snow is cool how it is.

I personally would like to see a green Iceland. For me, option E would be optimal, and after that D, C, B and A. Snow may be nice, but it's very limiting when it comes to detailing...

Option C since it's the one you prefer and I also do prefer it, seems like we could see some breathtaking landscapes !
