Tartous is now finished. With Latakia and the road between nearly done too, I think I could already confirm three new cities for next release (Tartous, Latakia and Antakya).
Turkey will so enter in next Middle East add-on Other cities will come of course. They still need (a lot of) work, but it remains me time ...

Today, I finished the Syrian coast ... It remained some work on Latakia city itself. Here a panoramic view of the city from south :

Also, I added a representation of it's airport with a logistic company :

With this done, it means I can now put my priority on Turkey because the link with the rest of Mid-East add-on is completed.

English: If you don’t like this addon just delete it, nobody forces you to play ME-addon, but going onto the forum and just ranting about the bugs and things you don’t like isn’t the way you should handle it. If you want to report bugs, do it and there’s a chance they will be fixed. Oh, and if you think the speed limits are ridiculous and you are losing too much money, just disable the penalties in the settings, then you won’t have a problem with the 10 kph limit, either.

Also, thanks for your message. This one came just after a very negative and brutal one. This is indeed not a way to do, it's why I asked for moderation ... However, those checkpoints were indeed not optimal and I had some reflexion from a while about them.
So I choose to modify them, removing the speed camera. Traffic will just slow down or stop shortly before you can continue ... This will apply from next version in Syria, Lebanon and Egypt (Sinai area)

Platypus, when you say next release, do you mean 2.51, 2.55 or 2.60? The main promods pack usually doesn't get new content in updates like 2.51 of 2.55, but it seems like that if the main pack gets more content it doesn't necessarily mean that the add-on gets more content and vise versa. So therefore my question.

Indeed, content of add-on is independant of the main map. I just add it when it's ready. Next release means next release, whatever will be it's number (2.51, 2.55 or 2.60)
So, as for now, I can confirm 3 cities (Tartous, Latakia and Antakya), with this place as the most northern ready point.
