Anyway i lost many minutes here to explain something.

Before i'm a thief and a lot of words from your admin, now everyone is stupid and don't know how to use torrent file and install a application, what's after :?:

I'm done... but you're better diplomat than your admin 8-)

Cheers

Now you see the problem here is that you're criticising our points without providing any constructive points of your own. If you want to convince some one to do something you have to give them some reasons why they should do it beyond just 'this is bad, fix it' - we've told you why the free download is as it is, we've said why we don't use the methods you're suggesting. In my last post I asked how you would solve the issues that would come up if we did switch to torrents but in your last post you've elected to ignore those questions and only focus on a small part of my post (the fact that some people don't use torrents) which is not the main issue with using torrents to host ProMods.

Unless you actually say how you would solve the issues that I mentioned in my last post (now made bold so you can't miss them), I will just assume that you've realised that using torrents is unrealistic for us but you won't admit it.

An aside, I noticed that you complained about how we don't provide file hashes.

Except we do.

They're in checksums.exf in the File Testing Tool package.

I'll paste them here for your convenience (They're all SHA256):

Lol it's funny to see someone to try to explain my work....
I can put it in one sentence. Without the download system, the way it is right now, there IS NO MORE PROMODS.

Accept that we do things the way we do for a reason and go spend your time ranting elsewhere if you don't enjoy what we do.

In the world of late 2020, actually, you should feel the embarrassment of offering ~300k/s bandwidth without "server-resuming privilege" for free download of zillion-GB of files that are impossible to download in one go!.. but, instead, are you still trying to justify yourself?!

Yes with 60TB of data traffic and over 500,000 downloads it's justified.

I think it's very telling certain people complain about a free product when they can receive a better experience for only 1 euro

I've got to say, I am absolutely baffled to see the way users are complaining about this thing here. It's absolutely ridiculous. The ProMods team does a great job, and I can't for the life of me think why anyone would complain about the free download system.

It was spoken in a civilized way, the author(-ity) said the last word, me accepted it, so there was not much left to say, at least for me...

What is ridiculous is that 3rd parties are chime in the matter as if they were a advocate and/or a spokesperson for that business!

The files take only 14 minutes each to download and you can download two at once (Three if you're clever, but not abusive, last I checked).

And it's 1.79GB.

Also, this is a relatively open forum. Any user can comment, provided that it's on-topic and said in a pleasant enough manner. The moderators may be inclined to remove posts that use needlessly hostile or accusatory language.

Is there a forum section for suggestions for future versions?
Because it would be really nice if in a future version you guys could implement a parking spot for sleeping in Reutte in Austria. I had to finish a haul there and had 30 minutes of driving left, and the next parking spot was in Innsbruck, which handed me 2 driving time violation fines in the process of getting there.
