Hello to all the pro mappers here.

after reading old and up to date instructions of how to run map editing and able to save a map but still quit not there when it comes to loading. I decide to take a drive by running the game normally after closing the Map Editor, and I got all these lovely vectors lines. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of them. Did I press something I shouldn't . I was looking at the Europe map through the amp editor, was this the cause of it?

After some searching and reading I wonder if someone could answer some question as either the search engine is bad, or there is no answer, or I have not use the right "words" or "phases".
1) is the map scale use in SCS's ETS2 game is in real map scale or it is in resolutions scale as I'm trying to figure out how to put a map in the background of the map editor.
2) so the the scale 1:19 "normal" and 1:3 "city", does that mean I have to put a 1:19 scale background map for the roads but when I hit a city I have to put a 1:3 scale map in the background? Also will the 1:3 scale applies if I travel through a small township?
Does anybody know a good tutorial of how to calculate the scale for mapping? I saw a few but not that great and I just band my head on the desk, on one of them the guy or gal didn't says anything...just "click,click,click"..what? Thank you all for you help.

While I cannot help you with the scaling issue (it's only for people who are pro mathematicians) ... the editor background map is consistently in the same scale.
1:19 or 1:3 is based on the time compression you are experiencing in game. Every area of the map is in the same scale (well with the exception of the UK as it was produced in 1:15 long ago)
