Development on version 1.x (British Columbia Edition)
I just watched Jeff Favignano's video of this mod from Vancouver to Merritt and the map looks amazing! As someone who has driven this route before, I noticed the speed limit was incorrect in one spot. The speed limit in the game was 120 km/h between Abbotsford and Hope. However, the speed limit here is actually 100 km/h. Hopefully, that can be adjusted at some point. Thanks!

@ColtonW24 here is a 110 limit:

Now maybe you mean the truck limit in which case Google Maps won't help there, and it is possible that the speed limit has changed since those images were taken.

The speed limit was reduced from 110 km/h to 100 km/h in November 2018. The majority of Highway 1 between Abbotsford and Hope in the Eastbound direction has Google Maps imagery from October 2018. However, Google Maps imagery was taken in April 2019 for the Westbound direction, as well as a short section of the Eastbound direction near Abbotsford, that shows the new 100 km/h speed limit.

I did the drive from Vancouver to Calgary a couple weeks ago and I can confirm that it was 100 km/h on the stretch from Abbotsford to Hope. The 120 km/h limit doesn't start until the Coquihalla , and even then it's a variable speed corridor where they can drop the speed limit if the conditions are poor. Here is an article from 2018 that detailed a bunch of changes they made on various provincial highways: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british- ... -1.4893914
I have to say, I've spent the last couple days watching the various preview videos and streams, and each time I've felt like I was reliving that drive, albeit in much better conditions! You all have done an incredible job replicating BC, and I can't wait to drive it myself.
