Development on version 2.x (Northern Scandinavia)

Hi, everybody. I have been dreaming for a long time and I ask the authors to make the E6 road from Trondheim to Tromso and further North to Alta. I believe that we should focus on these territories, as well as on the North of Sweden and Finland. Adjust the economy: there are fruits, vegetables, equipment, clothing; from there, fish, wood, minerals and ore. But these are just my thoughts and wishes, maybe it will come true someday. Good luck all.

I think that is their plan, but it takes mutch longer to map this area because of the terrain, but it will probably come some time in the future.

The only problem is that sod's law states that they'll either complete it, or be on the verge of completing it, and then SCS announces "Road to the Northern Lights/Barents Sea" DLC.

The earliest a Barents Sea DLC cold come would probably be late 2022. A lot of great progress coule be made by then, and some of the content from ProMods could probably replace some SCS content, so it would not be totally wasted.

Hur ska jag få det att fungera? Jag har alla DCL och har laddat ner promods. Vart kan jag ladda ner Promods def 2.50? Jag har den som heter 2.51 men där får jag inte norra delarna av Sverige, Norge och Finland

Hi. How do I make it work? I have all DCL and have downloaded promods. Where can I download Promods def 2.50? I have the one called 2.51 but there I do not get the northern parts of Sweden, Norway and Finland

Do you use ETS2 1.39? Then use ProMods 2.51.
Or do you use ETS2 1.38? Then use ProMods 2.50.

If you do not get northern parts of Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Then you are doing something wrong.

hey one of my biggest dreams is that promods can make the E39 from Trondhjem to Alesund and then bergen.

It will most likely come in the next major version as parts of it is already on the map, it is only available if you use developer mode and look for it in the general area as it is not yet fully implemented in the map

Does anybody know if there are currently any plans to restructure the Tana Bru / Varangerbotn / Kirkenes triangle of promods? Just asking 'cause I am working on something that will see the E75 extended beyond Varangerbotn.

You should ask ajungrei, he's the original creator of Barents' sea part of ProMods. He told me he stopped working on it in favour of ProMods Canada, so atm there are other devs working on it, although I don't know who..it has been awfully quiet. And there has been a lot of hidden work up there that you can find using the fly cam, so maybe there is some work in the area you're describing.
