What's the plan for Promods Iberia in the 2.55 update?

there is no date - it's ready when it's ready.
If you disable ProMods, you have to sell every garage in ProMods areas, yes.
Therefore I recommend to make a new profile without map mods.

N-340 on the side of AP-7

I am curious about the plan of promods in the merging and mending project, pls tell me if any of the roads & cities will be deleted, or kept, or merge. B.T.W, seems that SCS forgot to take care of the districts of Huesca, Lleida, Girona and Navarra. They are totally blank, and I hope that they can be merged with Promods Iberia perfectly... But on the other side of the shore, along the Balearic Sea, there seems to be not enough place for adding N-340 and Vinaros.. I hope that promods can deal with it perfectly!

They had PM 2.52 ready after 1.40 came out in 2 or 3 days if memory serves. Admittedly they worked on it during the Beta which allowed them access to the 1.40 content early on, but 2.55 only removes PM Spain and border French cities, there will be no other work done for 2.55. So my question is: what two MONTHS are you even dreaming off brother? They will take a few days max.

Yes... I forgot that Spain borders with a DLC state. A road connection mod is than not needed (but we don't know if Andorra will be temporarely deleted or not).
I thought ProMods team should also create a road connection, this would have taken some time (rebuilding the landscape, fixing any bugs...)

In the meantime, you can get Promods working with SCS Iberia. First copy out "dlc_iberia.scs" from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2" (or equivalent) to your ETS2 mods directory and place dlc_iberia higher in priority than Promods. Then extract "promods-map-v252.scs" and move the original file outside of the ETS2 directory (as a backup). Open the new folder "promods-map-v252" and goto "./map/europe/". You'll need to delete a few map sectors (by deleting the corresponding .aux, .base, .data, .desc & .snd files). Delete the sectors between x=-14 and x=-8 and y=8 and y=11 (where x is the 1st number and y is the 2nd number in sec+xxx+yyy). Then also delete sectors (-13,7) and (-12,7).

I just LOVE these answers, wish more companies would say this for actual games we pay for. You do it for free (except I always pay the download price) as for me, I'm happy to wait!

Saying that though, you would think something as big / popular as promods that SCS would give you an version of it 1 month before change. I'm actually holding off buying the DLC until you do your stuff!

Confused at this part because the formatting is inconsistent. Does this mean (-14,8) and (-8,11)?

No you have to delete the all the sectors that make up a rectangle corresponding to the France/Spain Border (and Andorra). So if a sector has a x coordinate of between -14 and -8 and also has a y coordinate between 8 and 11, then you should delete it (Note: (-8,10) and (-8,11) don't exist). Placing dlc_iberia above Promods in the mod list overwrites most of Promods Spain, but does not fix the immediate border areas and the far south of France. (-8,8) (-8,9) (-9,8) (-9,9) (-9,10) (-9,11) (-10,8) (-10,9) (-10,10) (-10,11) (-11,8) (-11,9) (-11,10) (-11,11) (-12,7) (-12,8) (-12,9) (-12,10) (-12,11) (-13,7) (-13,8) (-13,9) (-13,10) (-13,11) (-14,8) (-14,9) (-14,10) (-14,11) are all the sectors I deleted, I was trying to write it in shorthand. If all the roads in that area are contiguous you should have done it correctly.

Edit: Delete (-9,12) as well, or else there will be a block of land above the coast of Barcelona.
