What's the plan for Promods Iberia in the 2.55 update?

Maybe you can *make a sort of road connection (like Promods and Rusmap)? This is just a proposal!

I have deleted the sectors, and now the map loads fine, however it does not seem to "detect" the ProMods cities as cities: it doesn't show their names, and doesn't offer jobs to them. Do you know how to fix this?

i have same problem as Aztec, any idea what is wrong? i have deleted sectors, loaded map (iberia dlc on top), and i dont see name of cities any idea?

There is more involved in making ProMods compatible with DLC Iberia than just deleting sectors, that is why the team is working on a new release (2.55).

I noticed this problem last night, I've managed to fix it. I was too busy driving in Iberia to notice.
First you'll have to download scsextractor.exe from here: https://modding.scssoft.com/download/scs_extractor.zip
Now create a new directory inside your mod folder called dlc_iberia and move dlc_iberia.scs and scsextractor.exe into it. Open Command Prompt and navigate to the newly created folder using cd "Your Folder Path". Type in scsextractor.exe "dlc_iberia.scs" and wait for it to extract. Now delete dlc_iberia.scs. Do the same with promods-def-st-v252.scs.
Now open dlc_iberia/def and promods-def-st-v252/def. Inside promods-def-st-v252/def delete the .sii files with dlc_iberia in the name. Open city.promods and delete the @include entries under Spain. Open ferry.promods and delete @include "ferry/bilbao.sui". Open the folder promods-def-st-v252/def/ferry and delete any file including the name bilbao (including the subfolder connections). Now copy the contents of dlc_iberia/def/ferry to promods-def-st-v252/def/ferry. Now open each of .sii files inside dlc_iberia/def and copy the @include lines into the corresponding xxxxx.promods.sii file in promods-def-st-v252/def/. Finally place dlc_iberia between Promods Def and Promods Map in the Mod List.

Once you are done you should have a map like this:

Saying that though, you would think something as big / popular as promods that SCS would give you an version of it 1 month before change.

Even if they did, the DLC would be unfinished. You can't merge an unfinished product

basically Iberia DLC gets replaced with the Promods Iberia with some minor glitches in the area.
But really outside of Iberia the mod works fine

We don't recommend users making their own quick hacks like this because we have changed more than just the sectors & definition files.
But this is as intended. ProMods 2.52 was released to allow people to drive ProMods Spain one last time on version 1.40 with the new lighting, if they were not planning on buying the DLC.
Now that the DLC is here we can work on releasing ProMods 2.55 which will incoorperate it.
