What's the plan for Promods Iberia in the 2.55 update?

Promods will start with Ibeira DLC. but its not compatable so most likley it will crash. Thats what happened when i tried 2.52 with Iberia. managed to drive for about 15 mins before it crashed
So u have the options of not installing Iberia if u want to carry on with promods or install iberia and not run ur promods profile till promods does an update.
Another option which can be done is install iberia to play on ur unmodded profile then uninstall Iberia so u can run a promods profile. But thats a pain cause u have to keep installing unistaling Iberia.

Promods will do an update for Iberia DLC. but it will be ready when its ready. could be days weeks or months. I was surprised 2.52 came out so fast after the 1.40 update. was expecting it to be held back till after Iberia was released so they could make it compatable with Iberia as well.

Hi, thanks for reporting your experience. My idea corresponds to your third option, that is to have two different profiles one without mod (with dlc iberia) the other with the promods installed. Is it possible to disable the iberia dlc only for this last profile? If it's not possible, if I enable and disable it every time, would I lose my saves? Thank you

It is possible and you need to click on the profile and find the button to disable and enable mods just for this single profile. I can show you the process but unfortunately I am not vacant to use my computer. Maybe an hour later?

Thank you for your answer. The point is not to disable any mods, but temporarily the single dlc (iberia in this case) to use promods 2.52 without problems. In the dlc section of the profile, by clicking on each of them, it takes me back to the Steam web page. I don't understand if it is possible or not to disable a single dlc directly from the game's home menu.

I am not sure if this has cropped up yet but just for your information . I recently puchased the Iberia DLC and found to my dismay that the new map does not display with Promods modifications So until our good friends here at promods come up with the fix , we will have to play ETS2 without Promods mods. Be patient, I am sure the team will work hard to ensure that we can enjoy all the benfits of ETS 2 and the excellent mods they provide.

If you would've taken a look at the forum for only one minute before posting this, you would've seen that everyone is aware of this, even before the DLC was released, and that ProMods is on top of this.

But this is as intended. ProMods 2.52 was released to allow people to drive ProMods Spain one last time on version 1.40 with the new lighting, if they were not planning on buying the DLC.
Now that the DLC is here we can work on releasing ProMods 2.55 which will incoorperate it.

And I'm really glad you guys did it this way. I don't understand the impatience of some people here. Everything that exists has to get created first. ProMods 2.52 offers so much to admire and enjoy that I have no problem with not being able to play the Iberia DLC in combination with ProMods for a while. In fact, I really dread a little bit going to ProMods 2.55, as I have already seen several people here proclaim that ProMods Spain is so much nicer and better than the whole Iberia DLC. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do, but maybe I'll just skip that 2.55 completely and just wait with the purchase of the Iberia DLC until a ProMods version comes out in which some pieces of ProMods Spain have already been merged.

Question: Will the upcoming 2.55 update a reinstall of both ProMods and the Middle East add-on? As I'm still new to ERS2/ATS, I'm not familiar with how things go installation wise with the x.x5 versions.
