If RusMap has higher priority than Promod (as it should be except DEF) you get a CTD. If you load RusMap with lower priority than Promod (as it should not be) you have the gaps as expected but there's no CTD.

Road connection mods ALWAYS have higher priority than the maps they connect!

Not anymore - all fine now. As mentioned later within my post update, I was missing the correct road connection file RC PM255 and RusMap 2.4.1.
Reason I was missing it: Update 2.4.1 download section does not contain the RC file... so I missed it as I was only downloading the files from 2.4.1 - my bad.
