Erkinalp, It's early for now Can trucks use this tunnel?

Yes, trucks are allowed through Konak tunnel and they will be allowed through Buca tunnel once it gets completed. The truck use of that tunnel is mostly limited to trucks destined to or from Izmir however. The situation is similar to Vatan avenue and Emniyet terminal in Langa, Istanbul. Trucks destined to Kültürpark are allowed to use Şair Eşref and Mürselpaşa boulevards too. Manas Boulevard, Kamil Tunca Avenue, and Yeşillik Avenue are also amongst the places you can see trucks going through in İzmir city centre. Altınyol and Anadolu Avenue are also allowed for trucks. Kordon, Gaziler, Gazi, Fevzipaşa, Cumhuriyet and Talatpaşa avenues are off-limits to trucks.
