Hey everyone !
Just to say thank you for this amazing work ! Some villages between Foix and Andorra look so realistic, even smallest details, makes you feel as if you were there !
If I may ask : how do you do to collect so much visual information ? Do you visit each place by yourself ? Do you use google maps or pictures ?
Again thank you for offering so much work for free !

For now i think to rebuild Cherbourg because it's technically the last area of ProMods France who is not updated of the current standards of the modalnour_212 wrote: ↑13 Jan 2022 18:20EN : Hi xxsamdu93xx, what are the priorities for you after Perpignan, and Paris? Is it a priority for reskin Strasbourg and add Nancy?
In my life I have traveled a lot in France for holidays so yes it can technically help me in my work, but I also do a lot of research like videos from point A to point B or I use a lot Google Map and Street view which are lucky to be updated every year in France
If the work is in the mountains, I also use the "globe view" mode which gives me a bit of a helicopter view to make the best relief of the mountains
A little development message, I have modified the speed limit file in France, now on the two-line national roads are again at 90km/h, this will mean that you will no longer have the slowdowns at 80km/h on the A16 between Calais and Dunkerque on the Bourbourg canal bridge or on the N13 between Carentan and Valognes

^^ Great, because SCS made a mess of the 80km/h limit in France and implemented it incorrectly. I already noticed the junction of A7 and A9 is back at 90 instead of 80 again, which was very welcome.

hello would it be possible to do the RN 10 between Bordeaux and Paris with an addition of Poitiers, Tours and Angoulême, I know it's work but if one day it's possible I would be very happy
Thanks for all that work

Salut,
For now i have a lot of project to do in France like Narbonne/Perpignan + Paris regions and the Cherbourg rebuilds it will take a lot of time to work on it.
And i think the base part of France needs a bit more love because it's still the 2013 road layout and scenery, SCS was added the french texture variant on it for the release of the France dlc

For sure A4, A6, A31 need some work to make them more realistic, also some corners on those highways are way too sharp in comparison with reality.

Hi Sam, great to hear work is happening in France. But I wanted to ask you about one introcate detail that may or may not be included.
This is mainly found on roads with a 2x3 lane configuration. I don't know why it's there but i just thought that might've been interesting to include. This particular picture is from the A9 at Perpignan; which happens to be the area you are working in. If you're looking to include a little more immersion; you could try to implement this or have some one else look at it.
Anyways, cheers and good luck on building France, you're doing god's work.

^^ Just different asphalt, I'm not sure if that's really needed. In this case the right side has newer asphalt than the left lane. There's nothing really exotic happening.

I wonder why they would do it like that then. Still interesting nonetheless. Thanks for clarifying though!
