I guess this mod is obsolete right now and won't be needed anymore.

In fact, only SOME AREAS of this mod are merged into PM 2.62, not all.
So, I think the next update of this mod will exclude some areas which have been merged into PM 2.62 already.

Yeah, I had a look at the map a minute or two ago, the northern section is included, but Tromso and south isn't so you might just be correct sbym5333.

Happy to see Vardø being used now as secondairy place towards Longyearbyen now. Specially for TMP this is a big help.

First page has a new download link.
The new version is the same as the old version - except the areas that have been merged into ProMods 2.62 are now removed from the new version. Also some def file changes have been made in the progress since some of the data is provided via the ProMods Europe package as of 2.62.

N.B.: Using the old version for Promods 2.61/ETS2 1.44 in combination with Promods 2.62 and ETS2 1.45 will lead to all sort of errors (missing city names etc) due to the def file changes of Promods/Finnmark. So I'd advise against using the old version and recommend to use the new version for ETS2 1.45.


In the original 1.45 compatiblity release of this mode there was an error resulting in empty signs in the areas that have been merged into Promods. I just fixed the bug and linked the correct version on the OP.
If you downloaded the Finnmark Mod prior to Aug 4, 21:15 UTC it is *extremely likely* you will have to re-download it from the link on the first page. If you download after this point, you will automatically download the correct version

The correct package name is "finnmark_v1659646474.scs" and the description of the mod shows version number 11.1.

I am really enjoying your work and I stumbled on one of your hidden backroads. I then spent some time in the editor and made a slight addition to one of your hidden roads and added a small company. To me it felt as if it was lacking this feature. I can send you the sectors of this small addion as well as some photos of the completed work

Vardo is original Promods or Yours ?

Vardø was part of the original Finnmark release, has since been reworked several times and now is part of ProMods.

Congratulations to this outstanding piece of work. I found out about your expansion by chance and installed it right away after upgrading ETS2 to 1.45.
Very nice landscapes, roads and villages / towns implemented with great attention to detail.

It feels like driving there in Norway for real! For me it´s no wonder, that ProMods want to integrate your work into their map

Now that the Finnmark part of Troms og Finnmark has been included directly to PM, should the mod be renamed to Troms og Nordland? (to save others the effort, this is a lame joke based on Norwegian county names, the map name is FINE as it is)
