With the new editor function in 1.46 there is a way to use scenery objects as far model, it is more easy to avoid popping mountains, therefore I will report them, I will probably report more of those popping mountains as they are immersion breaking:

Dont do that, or you are going to keep reporting thousands of lines til you are dead. Even Vanilla have poping mountains all over the place. It cant be avoided. Ive been seeing this since AGES ago. Until the game engine is improved (so, never) this is going to be pretty common.

It can be avoided pretty easily these days, just takes a bit of time to get it fixed properly

The only way to avoid it is to make the mapping strategically so you dont see the far away mountains poping up because they are blocked by another environment.
There is no workaround about it, its embedded in the core game engine... now SCS said ages ago they were making improvements in the LOD management to improve all of this. Of course, they never did anything at all.
The more graphic and asset load is in a sector, the more chances are that you going to see poping mountains.

Incorrect; you can set the mountains to be far models. (a relatively new item type that overcomes the normal distance limit of ordinary items) Using far models means almost (there's still a maximum draw limit, but it's significantly further than the limit normal items) all distance issues can be overcome now, it just takes a bit of effort.

Exactly that reason I reported this, I've tested this succesfully on the Spain/France border mountain area in the editor for personal use and it works well, just its time consuming and it can cause some weird glitches since not all map items can be used with this technique but solutions are there. It's not possible/duable to use this technique for every popping object/mountain, but at least the most noticable onces since popping mountains are tfhe number 1 immersion breaking items.

Sure, then why SCS never did anything of the sort, ever?? because vanilla has so many poping mountains everywhere that is amazing. Modders should start using this "strategy" when not even SCS did think about it. Right. Is this new you say? like days new? just saying...

Right, and this is the reason SCS never used it and i dont think they will, ever. There you have the answer. If something doesnt work perfectly fine, better not use it. I agree completely.

SCS have been using far models extensively in their latest map DLCs. That's a simple fact, you can verify that by actually opening the map editor and doing the smallest amount of research before spouting random nonsense that you clearly have no knowledge about.

Far models have existed for a few years now, since the Washington DLC for ATS IIRC. However back then, you had to define specific models as 'far models' and then you could select one to use in the map from a drop down list. It is only in the most recent update (1.46) that it's become possible to add almost any item type to a far model area in order to make them act as a far model. That is why the technology hasn't been used much yet, it's only just become easy to do it.

If you're going to dispute this comment, I invite you to actually open the editor yourself and actually do some research first. At the moment your claims are completely false.
