Game crash on loading Szczecin

Hi All,

Whenever i drive into Szczecin or fast travel to it, my cockpit loads for 0.5s and then the game crashes.

So far I have:

Bought the Krone DLC trailer pack (some archived post hinted at that being the problem)
Removed all DLC packs
Validated ETS2 and reinstalled
Removed and added mods 1 by 1 except for Promods


The logs don't really point out towards an error either but i'm not an expert

Your mod load order needs some work, in general you should arrange your mods like this:


Does it still crash when using only ProMods Europe?

I've now disabled all mods except for ProMods Europe, and the loading order is the recommended one.
Still the same result sadly.


If i start a new carreer everything seems to work fine. Any way to clean the save? Would hate to lose 100h+ of progress...

These errors seems like you have used accessories in SiSL Mega Pack Mod for Scania truck because it tries to load it, so maybe try to add this mod back and to remove accessories for the truck you did use.

Strangely enough the same truck can be driven around in any town except for Szczecin. Very bizarre indeed.
I don't think it was due to the cabin accesoires as for the reason above.
I have no idea what the issue was but this fixed it:

1 While your game is not running, locate and open your Euro Truck Simulator 2 data folder. This folder can usually be found in your computer's documents folder on Windows (C:\Users\<USER>\Documents).
2 Open the config.cfg file with your preferred text editor.
3 Change the g_developer "0" field to g_developer "1".
4 Change the g_console "0" field to g_console "1".
5 Save the file, then start your game.
6 load your game profile
7 type "g_remove_missing_accessories 1" in console
8 manualy reload your saved game
9 type "g_remove_missing_accessories 0" in console
10 overwrite savegame


Congratulations! Your problem should now be fixed!

Yep, this solution does work, but that was only error I could find in your game.log.txt and I think it was the culprit.

I have no idea what the issue was but this fixed it:

That procedure is forcing the removal of the missing accessories. It is equivalent to selling the accessories with the mod installed (as mads1153 suggested) .

Game started crashing again upon entering the city, as you can see when i teleport in one of the final lines. Mod we though was corrupted is still deactivated. Logs are attached.
