i took a break from ets2 for a while and thought to myself yesterday 'you know what ill install ets2 and promods again just to have fun' so i did that then i got promods and all the addons and also the rus map because that was also cool so i decided to drive for a little bit and then all of a sudden the game froze then windows threw up this error in a little box so oh well atleast some improvements willbe made in 2.47

Does 2.67 work with basic 1.48 as well or is it only for the beta?

As you can see above, 2.67 will work only when 1.48.5 (final version) releases and for 1.48.5 or above, as promods doesn't release any content for betas. ScuL was very explicit with that. To play basic 1.48 (1.48.2 is the last version) you have to load 2.66 promods version.
So in conclusion, for 1.48.5 beta, no promods,
for 1.48.2, promods 2.66
and (when ready) for 1.48.5 (final version), promods 2.67.

I think it will be like the Iberia DLC, 2.67 will be compatible and will not require the DLC, and for 2.70, so to speak, it would already be mandatory
