damn update to 1.48

I had again an update this time to v 1.49
When i checked the options there is no option to stop updates or install older versions visible
Also every update option is now update the game so no choices to stop the freaking updates

So i can not find how to stop the auto update at all nor find a way to install the older versions
It simply instant updates to the latest (1.49) and without them allowing you to set it back to older versions
The moment you start it boom update starts no matter what you want or do
Nasty detail i had the files set to read only but that does not stop the updates anymore either

The new choices under update are :

Update always
Update when start
High priority update now

Apparently other mods got killed as well , since promods needs l;ong time to get updated and they constant release new versions faster and faster it becomes a huge pain to play with promods installed ( in fact any mod which is not constant updated in their insane silly update policies}
Some handy mods are so called no longer allowed to run which includes promods

Did you forget that this way with Steam?

Steam -> Library -> Euro Truck Simulator 2 -> Right click -> Properties -> Betas -> Betatesting and select: temporary_1_48_5_x - 1.48.5.x for incompatible mods to use with ProMods Europe 2.67 for 1.48.5 or temporary_1_48_x for 1.48.x for incompatible mods to use with ProMods Europe 2.66 on 1.48 until 1.48.5. Same applies for older ProMods versions for older ETS2/ATS versions.

Anyway autoupdating is not easy to stop unless using the Betas option.

Excuse me for my bad english, i am an old dutch guy who learned it a bit from TV
Been sick for more than two weeks, so not feeling well does not help remember things either
Sneezing headaches and dripping nose and even fainted a few times so not being happy with it
I had indeed forgotten how to get back to the older versions as my friends have not showed up for long time in ETS/ATS

I had to reinstall the game as i added a bigger NVME ssd and boom almost all the promods where blocked and i saw it was 1.49 instead of 1.48.x
I am alos thinking about go back to earlier version as that was for me working out with less issues
With 1.48.x i had alot of not correct clearing the road as i was driving on in the south eastern new regions
The clearance did not work also if i went back and forth on both sides of the road given alot of dark spots on that region
Also the auto toll ports often failed to open long enough that i could pass most closed instant again sigh

So had to pass at the good old annoying paid ones xD

Anyway going to reinstall promods now and thinking if i instant go back to 1.47 or give 1.48.x another try i must say i love the views in these regions alot
Hopefully my save has not been corrupted as well
Now need to find again the proper load order of promods
