The Great Steppe Development
yes, i meant that
also i think that it would be cool to add also a little piece of east Kazakhstan mountains, maybe some tricky gravel roads, like irl

The mountains of eastern Kazakhstan are quite far from the current map. More precisely, it is ~1600 kilometers in real life from Kostanay to Ust-Kamenogorsk. The desire is certainly good, but I don’t think we should expect this in the near future since it’s simply physically not realistic
yes, it's too unrealistic think that we will have all kazakhstan in a small piece of time

East Kazakhstan is something for a very long term - we are yet to rebuild what we have got already, not to mention that any route eastward (either via north or south) would require a few big cities, including Astana or/and Almaty.

The road connection was supposed to be the heart of Russia DLC. But since that DLC is postponed there is no road connection other then RusMap

ProMods The Great Steppe - December 2023 Development Update
UZBEKISTAN EXPANSION
Hello again, everyone!
This year has been a very productive one for TGS, with many reworked areas and additions to make Kazakhstan even more authentic.
But… why stop at Kazakhstan, when there are many other interesting locations nearby to explore?
Recently, we have released TGS version 1.0.3 for ETS2 1.49. In this update, we have released two revamped locations - one including a rework of a town which was temporarily hidden (Akshat), and a another one containing a brand-new town (Temirbek Zhurgenov) which was originally a scenery town you passed through on the Kazakh A-22 on the legacy versions of TGS. The update also brought new authentic assets, such as dynamic gas price totems in fueling stations throughout the country.
Whilst this version underwent testing, we have already started to work on a small, but exciting expansion in TGS, which could potentially open more roads in the future. Who knows?
This new expansion will include a new country in TGS - the nearby country of Uzbekistan! This ex-soviet nation is known in Central Asia for its textile industry and a developing agricultural sector, with many interesting and challenging routes through vast deserts, bustling cities and hilly areas.
For now though, in the pictures above, after reworking the town of Beyneu, in Kazakhstan, we have reached in this expansion two towns in the remote Autonomous Republic of Karakalpakstan: Karakalpakia and Jasliq. Both located along the A380 route inside Uzbekistan, that cuts through the least populated location in the country - The Kyzyl Kum Desert.
This should give you a pretty good idea of how an even deeper expansion towards Uzbekistan could potentially look like in the future. If you’d like to find out, as much as we also do, stay tuned to this topic for upcoming updates!
Thanks everyone for the amazing support!
