Speaking of 'Eastern Europe': let me introduce you to Europe's
center of gravity (i. e. geographical mid point). As far as I'm concerned, Russia is the only country in 'Eastern Europe'
I think you are a little wrong, the center of Europe lays in Denmark

"Center" depends on what you define Europe as (or exactly how big, where are the boundaries). Usually remote islands are considered as extreme points. Currently Purnuškes, Lithuania; Mõnnuste, Estonia; Tallya, Hungary and Babruysk, Belarus are considered valid possible centerpoints of Europe.

Yes, I see it now. That appears to be a bicycle/pedestrian ramp. How odd that...

your little 'attempt' even fails to include part of Ukraine...
Like already mentioned a few places like to assume that title but only one of them is recognized by the Book of World Records.
If anything, the Baltics should be considered part of Nothern Europe. It's often colder here than in Scandinavia...
Sorry for the off-topic.

Centre of Europe can be everywhere. Greece, England, Russia or middle Atlantic ocean. Depending on what do you call Europe? Greenland, Canary islands, Urals, Middle-/Near-East or just EU?
