Does Hringveginn means Ring road? I can understand little of that.

There are similarities to the scandinavian languages but I need a translator for the first three words, I can make an educated guess though ;-)

Yup! Well, "the Ring Road". Technically, it's "Hringvegurinn", but after the noun declension it becomes "hringveginn".
