Guys, what could be the cause of error "Unable to find 'City' 'test' for 0x.." ?
The cities are defined, there should not be a problem with definition. And should I worry about it as long as it doesn't crash?

Nevermind, the city name was too long, which caused the error I guess.

When I go to the editor and put 'edit test.scs' the screen is empty.
It says:

[fs] Failed to open file "/map/test.scs.mbd" in the read-only mode
Error loading Map /Map/test.scs.mbd
[fs] Failed to open file "/map/test.scs.mbd" in the read-only mode
typing "edit ...." You want to load the map which is inside your scs archive file (/map/<your_map_name>.mbd).

So instead of "edit test.scs" You should type "edit test".

Why?
Because Your test.mbd file is inside Your .scs file. When You start the game everything is loading up from Your local environment of game, including .scs files.
Well i just type "edit (map name)" same results, with no scs..?

Did you edit your map/mod name? It happened to me as well for many different reasons.

Ok, let's have some print screens of your base folder you have below game root (Euro Truck Simulator 2)
And the same of your project folder and the directory of your zip archive

If have folder/file names you don't want anyone to see wipe it in eg paint or paint.net
As a last resort also upload the scs file to a download location, share it using dropbox or other sharing service

Content of your zip/scs archive?

Your project map on desktop looks a little odd? Is this where you're creating the zip/scs file from
The map folder needs to in the base folder

Always \base\map\nameofmap.mdb

Yes i also tried Map project/base/map/test.mdb

So i copied test.mdb file and the test folder from where my game is and put it in map project folder (on desktop).
Then i addded them in archive, stored it and made it zip. then rename it "test.scs"

like this:

And then i moved that scs file to: user\me\documents\eurotrucksimulator2\mod\

I think the problem may be caused by "...\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\editor" location. It should also be a file called "test.mbd" there. This file is needed to open up Your map in editor. If You rename Your map files in Your base\map location, there's no reference for the editor to open up map files. I don't exacly know what's inside this file, but look inside that folder, and see if there is a file called like your map file. Than try following:

1. Make a backup of Your map files and .scs file too.

2. Remove your old "europe"-called files from "\base\map\".

3. Rename your map file names to "europe". In the resault You should have in Your "\base\map\" file called "europe.mbd" (instead of test.mbd) and a folder with map sectores called "europe" (instead of "test").

4. Repack .scs with new map files.

5. Open Ets, type in console "edit europe"

6. If map loads properly click on "SAVE MAP" button and then save with your custom map name (for exapmle "test")

Let me know if it helped.
